As per PTI sources, the brand is making a comeback to India after a gap of more than a year. HTC shut down its operation in India last year after Faisal Siddiqui left the organisation. The sources further reveal that the company will introduce a new flagship series of smartphones in the next few days. The series is set to “offer many firsts in the smartphone industry.''
The report further highlights that HTC will sell its smartphones in India through an international distribution network. The report highlighted that discussion with the Indian brands are in advanced stages and it highly likely Lava and Karbonn teaming up to bid for the HTC brand licence.
