HTC One X, One S to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean this month

HTC promises to release Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the One X and One S smartphones.

HTC has announced to release the 4.1 Jelly Bean update with HTC Sense 4+ for the One X and One S update this month. The new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sense 4+ for these three devices will bring select new features along with stable performance. The confirmation comes as part of official statement but there is no confirmed date for the update to be available.

HTC One X and One S are the two top of the line devices launched by HTC in the first half of this year. By default, these devices run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense 4+ user interface. The HTC One X has a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor with 1 GB RAM and about 32 GB on-board storage. It has 4.7-inch 720p HD Super LCD 2 display with a new unibody polycarbonate design and has non-removable 1800 mAh battery.

The Super bearing HTC One S features a dual-core Qualcomm mobile processor, 1 GB RAM and 16 GB on-board storage along with same unibody design. This smartphone comes with 1650 mAh non-removable battery.

Currently, the HTC One X is being sold in India for about Rs 31,500 approximately while the One S is being sold for Rs 26,200 approximately.
