HTC today announced the India launch of the new HTC Desire 820s dual SIM in Tuxedo Grey colour for Rs 24,890 (MOP).
The HTC Desire 820s dual sim offers a 5.5 inch touchscreen with high definition resolution. This handset measures 157.7 x 78.74 x 7.74 mm and weighs 155 grams. As per the press release of HTC, the Desire 820s is armed with 64 bit 1.7 Ghz octa core Snapdragon Processor (it is though widely reported to have a Mediatek chipset) which is being aided by huge 2 GB RAM. The phone also has superb 16 GB internal storage and an expandable storage slot that can handle a micro SD card of up to 32 GB.
The HTC Desire 820s also features HTC’s signature BoomSound front facing speakers and has a 2600 mAh battery that promises talktime of 12.1 hours on 3G network. Note that this phone comes with LTE capability as well. Besides, it has Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, micro USB port, 3.5 mm jack, and GPS.
Another highlight of Desire 820s is its cameras; it boasts a 13 megapixel auto focus camera in the rear panel with BSI sensor while in its front lies an 8 megapixel snapper which too comes with BSI sensor but without auto focus feature. It has ofcourse the Android operating system (version not known).
