HTC Desire series basically comprises of affordable and budget friendly smartphones in Dual-SIM configuration for Indian consumers. The HTC Desire 310 with 4.5-inch display and quad-core MediaTek mobile chipset gets listed at Snapdeal website for Rs 11,350. HTC Desire 310 features the HTC Sense user interface and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version under it. HTC has also integrated the BlinkFeed news aggregation feature that basically replaces the homescreen.
HTC Desire series aims to bring most HTC features of premium segment to devices with relatively affordable price. The Desire 310 features a 4.5-inch display with 480×854 pixel resolution and supports multitouch. HTC has powered this device with quad-core 1.3 Ghz MediaTek MT6582M mobile chipset coupled with a Mali-400MP2 GPU graphics. HTC has packed 1 GB RAM to power this device for running smoothly and offered 4 GB storage out of which most will be reserved for system.
HTC has offered memory card slot to expand the storage. The Desire 310 features 5 megapixel camera at the back and is capable of recording full HD video. In the front is a VGA camera for video calling. HTC has included Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, micro USB 2.0 port, FM Radio, and GPS with A-GPS as well as GLONASS support.
The Desire 310 packs 2000 mAh battery life and the one of the SIM slot supports high speed 3G Network enabled SIM module. HTC Desire 310 will compete with the current favorite Motorola Moto G smartphone.
