HOOQ has announced that it will focus more on Hollywood movies and TV shows. The company has introduced a new Rs 89 per month subscription plan for the Indian market and the application will be available on both Android and iOS devices. As a part of an inaugural offer, Hooq is offering 3 months subscription for Rs 89.
For the uninitiated, HOOQ is a joint venture between Singtel, Sony Pictures Television, and Warner Bros, allows customers to enjoy unlimited online streaming access and an offline viewing option on Hollywood and Indian movies and television content.
The company has said that it will now focus on bringing latest Hollywood movies and famous TV shows to the Indian audience with its new tagline, ‘Home of Hollywood’. The brand will be also adding dubbed English movies in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages and it will also introduce subtitle in these languages as well.

HOOQ says that it will bring the latest Hollywood movies within 90 days of its theatrical release, though users need to pay Rs 59 to watch it. However, under the subscription offer, users will get one free ticket for watching the latest Hollywood movies every month. Movies like Wonder Woman is already available on the platform and the company says other latest movies like Spiderman Homecoming and Dunkirk (2017) will be available by end of this October. Coming to the payment method, users can pay the subscription charges via credit cards and Paytm.
