Haier has entered into the Smart TV segment with the launch of its new U6900 Android LED TV series in India. The company has introduced different models including LE50U6900HQGA 50-inch model for Rs 69,990, LE55U6900HQGA 55-inch mode for Rs 89,990, LE58U6900HQGA 58-inch model for 92,990 and LE65U6900HQGA 65-inch model for Rs 99,990.
The Smart TV series also acts as a smart IoT Hub. This means users can control all the IoT devices with a touch of button or voice. The U6900 series comes with a sleek design with a diamond-cut metal frame. The Smart TVs supports 4K Ultra HD resolution along with HDR 10 support that the company claims provide great contrast details. All the models support HDR playback with online streaming, HDMI and USB sources. It also comes loaded with wide colour gamut technology that offers vivid picture quality.
The new Smart TV series comes with Google Chromecast built-in, meaning that users can screencast content from mobile devices to the new TVs. Apart from this, it comes with Google Play Store. The latest Smart TV series comes with a host of interesting features. The TVs are Google-certified Smart TVs, meaning that it comes loaded with Google Assistant and Android TV OS. The company has added a mic button on the remote that allows users to search for the latest blockbuster, check the score of the big game or dim the room lights.
The Bluetooth-enabled remote control comes with Google Assistant voice built-in button, Hotkeys for Netflix and YouTube. Further, the Android TV remote app is now available both in iOS and Android that supports easy search, greater control with touchpad gestures and multiplayer gaming abilities.
