Google updates search for BlackBerry 6.0 devices

Google search becomes a faster more accurate web search for BlackBerry 6.0 devices and adds a few new features also without any software upgrade.

Google in order to maximise the web browsing experience has updated the web search for all the Blackberry 6.0 Webkit enabled devices.

With the update all the BlackBerry devices, which are running on OS 6 and above, will be able to perform web search faster and better than what it used to be, especially with the newer touch based devices. Along with the improvements in the web search Google has also added a few new features that were earlier missing.

Some of the major inclusions in the web search with this update are, faster web search with the inclusion of auto text complete feature, web search history and suggestions while performing a web search saving precious time every time.

Also, added are improved image search which lets the touch based devices to easily browse through the search suggestions and touch to enlarge feature, like the one on the web has also been added.

And lastly localised search with the inclusion of Google places has also been made possible. Now in order to do a localised search all the user need to do is select the places option from the menu and localized search based on the present location will be displayed on the device.

These features are available on most 6.0+ devices with WebKit browsers like the BlackBerry Torch and BlackBerry Bold 9780, and can be accessed in 20 languages across 70 countries.
