Google has today announced the launch of its latest flagship device, the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The smartphones come with a host interesting features and both of them are available in Just Black, Clearly White and Not Pink colour options. The smartphones will be available of a couple of online stores including Flipkart in India. The device comes atba starting price of $799.As for the Indian price is concerned, Pixel 3 with 64GB is priced at Rs 71,000, while the 128GB variant is priced at Rs 80,000. Google Pixel 3 XL is priced at Rs 83,000 for the 64GB storage option and Rs 92,000 for the 128GB storage variant. The smartphones will be up for pre-order starting October 11, 2018.
The Pixel 3 XL has a screen size of a 6.3-inch display with a screen resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels, while the Pixel 3 is loaded with a 5.5-inch screen with resolution f 2960 x 1440 pixels. Both the smartphones come powered with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with Adreno 630 GPU. The smartphone comes with different configurations. There is a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option; and 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option.
The company has added a dual-selfie camera on their latest Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphone. The primary sensor comes with an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture coupled with a telephoto lens with f/1.8 aperture. The front camera comes with Group selfie feature. At the front, there is a 12.2-megapixel rear camera 1.4-micron pixel size, f/1.8 aperture with LED flash, OIS and Dual Pixel autofocus. The camera comes loaded with a host of new features like Photobooth Mode that basically clicks photos when you simile, make funny faces and more. Then there is Motion Auto Focus, Top Shot, Google Lens, Super Res Zoom and more.
The smartphones come runs on Android 9.0 Pie. The Pixel 3 is backed by a 2915mAh battery. The company claims that the Pixel 3 series comes loaded with 40 per cent louder sound as compared to its predecessor. The company is offering free YouTube Music subscription for 6 months. The new smartphones come with Active Edge sensor, which is present in Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL as well.
