Google has started rolling out November’s security patch for Nexus and Pixel devices. With this, the company has fixed the clicking noise issue and even added a new Saturated mode to solve the screen burn-in issue in Pixel 2 series.
To check the security update, one will have to:
1) Open your device’s Settings app.
2) Near the bottom, tap System > System update.
3) You’ll see your update status. Follow any on-screen steps.
The Over-the-air(OTA) sizes 59.3 MB and the company claims to release some user interface related changes which will improve and extend the life of the OLED display. To use the Saturation Mode, one will have to go to Setting > Display > Advanced > Colours > Under the Colour Section Select “Saturated” mode.

One of the Google’s Community Manager Orrin posted “The November security update for Pixel is rolling out starting today, and it will reach all devices over the next week. The update includes some of the enhancements we posted about on October 26, such as Saturated colour mode for Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 Xl, a fix for the faint clicking noise heard in some Pixel 2s, and other bug and security updates.”

Meanwhile,Google has now announced that both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will come with a two-year warranty worldwide. The announcement was made today by Mario Queiroz, Vice President of Product Management at Google. The customers who have already bought the Pixel 2 or the Pixel 2 XL before will also be eligible for the two-year warranty.
