Google Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL Indian price and availability announced, price starts from Rs 61,000

The Google Pixel 2 6GB variant will come with a price tag of Rs 61,000, while the 128GB variant will be priced at Rs 70,000.

Google, during its Made by Google event, announced that India will be one of the first countries that will receive the latest 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones. Now, the company has confirmed the pricing both the devices.

To start with, the Google Pixel 2 6GB variant will come with a price tag of Rs 61,000, while the 128GB variant will be priced at Rs 70,000. The Google Pixel 2 will be available from select retail stores and online platforms starting from November 01, 2017. Google Pixel 2 XL, on the other hand, comes with a price tag of Rs 73,000 for the 64GB variant, while the 128GB variant comes with a price tag of Rs 82,000. The Pixel 2 XL will be available for sales in 1000+ stores and online starting November 15, 2017. Both the smartphones will be exclusively available from Flipkart.

Further, the company has announced a refreshed version of its Daydream View headset. The latest headset comes loaded with high-performance lenses, which results in better image clarity and a wider field of view. It sports a premium fabric that makes the headset soft and light and will be available in Charcoal color. Daydream View refreshed will be sold exclusively on Flipkart starting 1 November 2017, and will be priced at Rs 7,999.

The company is also launching new cases and accessories for its latest smartphones. This includes customisable Google Live Cases, and a range of cases, cables, headphones and more from 25+ partners in “made for Google” programme. These “made for” products will feature a badge on the packaging so users will know they’ve been certified to meet Google’s compatibility standards.
