Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have been subjected to various leaks in the past and the latest one reveals some key design of the upcoming smartphones. A popular UK-based accessory retailer MobileFun has revealed the images of smartphone gel cases from case maker Olixar, which reveal the design of both Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
The images reveal the back and front of the device and it seems that Google has reduced the glass portion on the back of both the smartphones. One can see a fingerprint sensor and a single camera accompanied by a LED flash at the top-left position on the back panel. The front sports a large screen with minimum narrow bezels and reduced upper and lower bezels. This could also mean that the smartphone might sport a similar aspect ratio of 18:9, as we have seen in the LG G6 and Galaxy S8. Further, there is long earpiece at the top, which could mean that it will sport a stereo speaker setup.
Further, the case makes has confirmed that the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will not support traditional 3.5mm audio jack, meaning that one has to rely on the USB Type-C port for headphones. The cases are available for pre-order with a price of EUR 5.59 (approx. Rs 400) for each of the cases.
Recollecting some previous rumours, the Google Pixel 2 XL will come loaded with a 5.99-inch Quad HD display, which will feature an OLED panel provided by LG, as per a report by XDA Developers. The smartphone is expected to sport a smaller bezel as compared to its predecessor, the Google Pixel XL. Further, the device is reported to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.4GHz along with 4GB of RAM.
