A new Gionee smartphone, Pioneer P6, is now available in India for Rs 8,890. The handset is listed on eBay India and is yet to be launched officially. Sadly only white colour version is available as of now, though a black colour version is also available. Note that on Gionee India’s website the handset has been listed but without the price tag.
As per the listing on eBay, the Gionee Pioneer P6 comes with a 5 inch capacitive touchscreen with 854×480 pixels resolution. This dual SIM smartphone has 8 GB of internal storage, 1 GB RAM, and 32 GB expandable storage slot.
The Pioneer P6 offers Android KitKat operating system that runs on a 1.3 GHz Mediatek quad core processor. The handset measures 135×66.5×9.05 mm and has a 1950 mAh battery.
Like most Android smartphones, it too comes with 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, WiFi, FM radio, and GPS with A-GPS support. The Gionee Pioneer P6 offers a 5 Megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera.
Currently, Lenovo A6000, Yu Yureka, and Redmi Note 4G are the leading smartphones in the sub-Rs 10,000 segment. All these three offer 4G connectivity and are available only via flash sales.
