Gionee A1 gets a price cut, available for Rs 16,999

The company has announced Rs 3000 discount, now available at Rs 16,999 across the country.

As the festival season is coming, Gionee India has announced a price cut of Rs 3,000 for its flagship device Gionee A1. The smartphone was initially launched in India in March this year for Rs 19,999 in Black, Gold and Grey colour variants and now it is available for Rs 16,999.

Additionally, customers who would activate A1 on Jio network for the first time with a recharge of Rs 309 or above will be entitled to additional 60 Jio data. Apart from this customers will get this additional data benefit on 6 recharges of Rs. 309 or above.

At the same time, Gionee has associated with Paytm which allows customers to get two Paytm cash back Vouchers worth Rs 250. Along with this, each voucher will ensure Rs 250 cash back into the Customer Paytm wallet on a minimum purchase of INR 350 from Paytm Mall.

Gionee A1 offers a 5.5-inch full with 1920×1080 pixel resolution and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 6755 Helio P10 processor, along with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone also comes with an option to expand the storage to 128GB via card slot.

The major highlight of the device apart from selfie camera is the new 18W ultra technology, which the company can charge these devices in 2 hours. Also, the company adds a tagline to the devices – “Super camera, super battery”.

On the camera front, the smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus, F2.0, 1/3.06 inches, 5P lens, flash and a 16-megapixel front camera with fixed focus, F2.0, 1/3.06 inches, 5P lens, selfie flash.

The smartphone runs on 7.0 Nougat operating system and is backed up by a 4,010 mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the device support dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, 4.1, GPS, and micro USB. The handset measures 154.5 x 76.5 x 8.5 mm and weighs 182 g.
