Forget Moto X Force, this Rs 3,999 phone claims to have an equally tough display

The new HSL Y501 Plus comes with Hammer screen which, as per the company, can withstand fall impacts and can even break walnuts.

HSL Mobile has announced launched a budget smartphone, named as HSL Y501 Plus. As per the company, the smartphone comes with Hammer screen that protects the display from all fall impacts and claims that it can even break walnuts. The company is also offering 365 days assured touch screen replacement warranty if it gets damaged. The smartphone will be exclusively available via Snapdeal for Rs 3,999 and comes in Black and White color variants.
HSL Y501 Plus
HSL Y501 Plus features a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixel) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Mediatek which is paired with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on older 4.4.3 KitKat operating system and has a 2000 battery, which claims to offer up-to 18 hours of talktime on 2G network.

The HSL Y501 Plus comes with 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 32GB via a micro card. The device sports a 5-megapixel primary camera along with flash and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. On the connectivity front, the handset offers Dual SIM, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS/ and Micro USB. The handset measures 145.5 x 73 x 9 mm and weighs 143 grams (with battery). The phone also supports 21 regional languages and also translates the phone book effortlessly from English to any of the 21 available languages.
