Flipkart Billion Capture+ was sold out on first sale, but numbers will shock you!

The smartphone went on sale for the first time from midnight of November 15.

Flipkart recently launched its first smartphone under its new brand known as Billion. Dubbed as Billion Capture+, the smartphone went on sale for the first time from midnight of November 15.

The company claims that the smartphone received an unprecedented response from the customers. “The Billion Capture+, sold out on Day 1 amid an overwhelming response from customers. The “Made for India” smartphone went on sale from 00:00 hours on November 15, and was sold out on the same day,” the company said in a statement.

However, according to a report by TeleAnalysis, the total number of units sold on that day was less than a thousand. The report further highlighted that only 923 units of the Billion Capture+ were sold on the first sale. Shockingly, the report highlights that only 950 units were kept for sale.

This shows that companies these days try to lure the customers with different marketing gimmicks and Flipkart has become one of them. Earlier, the company announced that Smartron is the official design and engineer partner of the latest device.
