The Huawei Honor 4X, priced at Rs 10,499, is the new kid in the fast growing premium-budget category. We decided to see how the Honor 4X stacks up against the current champion of the segment, the 4-month-old, Yu Yureka.
Design
The Honor 4X has a lovely black and white theme. The front of the screen is dominated by the display, and it has thin bezels. The phone manages to put across a robust image, and the rear is an interesting white colour matt finish panel. The phone measures 152.9 x 77.2 x 8.7 mm.
The Yu Yureka on the other hand, has average sized bezels and is a fairly large phone, however, you look at it. The front is plain, if not average looking, but the rear has a matte rubberised finish. The Yu Yureka measures 154.8 x 78 x 8.8 mm, making it slightly bigger than the 4X.
Display
On the display front, both Yu Yureka and Honor 4X have a 5.5 inch IPS display with a Resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, resulting in a Pixel density of 267 ppi.
Processor
In this department, Huawei honor 4X has a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, While Yu yureka runs on 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615. Both the smartphones support 32GB micrSD card.
Software
The Yu Yureka comes with Cyanogen Mod OS 11 on Android KitKat, which allows for several customisations and enhancements. Meanwhile, the Honor 4X also comes with Android KitKat, but it is running Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.0.
Battery
The Honor 4X has a 3000 mAh battery which can provide up to 15 hours of Talk time while the Yu Yureka has a 2500 mAh battery which can provide only up to 9 hours of talk time.
Camera
The Yu Yureka has a 13 Megapixel camera with auto-focus, flash, and video recording at 1080p at 30 fps, and slow motion at 720p at 60 fps. The front of the phone has a 5 megapixel unit. The Honor 4X has a 13 megapixel camera with auto-focus, geo-tagging, face detection, panorama, HDR, flash, and video recording at 1080p at 30 fps. The front has a 5 megapixel selfie taker.

Connectivity
The Honor 4X is a Dual-SIM 4G enabled smartphone with Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, for your connectivity needs, even Yu Yureka has the same connectivity options.
Wrapping Up
In terms of design Huawei Honor 4X has a slight EDGE over Yu Yureka. The Honor 4X and Yu Yureka are at the level, in terms of specs, when it comes to display, camera and connectivity options. On the battery front Honor 4X has an edge and provides a better backup simply because of its capacity. But in terms of performance-based of the specs one can expect Yu Yureka to give better performance
