Lenovo K8 Plus with stock Android was launched yesterday in India for Rs 10,999. At the launch event, we interacted with Sudhin Mathur, Country Head, Lenovo Mobile Business Group, Here are the excerpts of the interview.
TMI. Why are Motorola and Lenovo launching so many smartphones and that too in quick succession?
Sudhin: We want to offer more and more choices to our customers.
TMI: Why the sudden love for stock Android?
Sudhin: It is an evolution process and one of the major learnings from the acquisition of Motorola from Google. They propelled us to explore Stock Android so that we can focus on the hardware.
