Epson launches iPrint app for Android

It allows Android mobile phone and tablets users to print documents, e-mail attachments and stored files over WiFi network.

Epson, a known brand for printers and imaging devices, has announced the launch of its new Epson iPrint for mobile devices.

It allows Android mobile phone and tablets users to print documents, e-mail attachments and stored files, using Epson Inkjet printers, over WiFi network &#151 enabling users to get the work done faster and without much hassle.

The has a built-in web browser, which users can use to find and print a web page, or they can also access and print files from online file storage services like Box.net, Dropbox and Evernote. The application also enables the device to scan documents or pictures from the connected Epson all-in-one and share a file via email, save online on online file services or save it on to the device as well.

“The new Epson iPrint app offers fun and useful capabilities including the ability to print photos, and web pages any time to any nearby wireless Epson printer, giving Android device owners the freedom to print virtually anything they want to.” Said Samba Moorthy, division head &#151 sales and marketing, Epson India.

The iPrint application as of now is compatible with some of the Epson printer models that include Epson Office TX510FN, Epson Stylus TX550W, Epson Stylus Office TX600FW, Epson Stylus Photo TX700W, Epson Stylus Photo TX720W, Epson K200, Epson ME Office 900WD.Epson ME Office 960FWD and Epson Stylus Photo R3000 to name a few.

The application is available free of cost for all Android devices and can be downloaded directly from the Android Market or alternatively users can follow this link to download the same.
