Apart from smartphones, a couple of fitness bands were also launched in India this week.

December is poised to be a great month vis-a-vis new devices as many most-anticipated devices are set to hit the Indian market. The first week of the month also saw a couple of most watched devices. Here we have listed all the devices that were launched in India this week.

Microsoft Lumia 950, 950 XL

The Lumia 950 is priced at Rs 43,699 while the Lumia 950 XL has a price tag of Rs 49,399. Both the phones will be available for sale from December 11. The Microsoft Lumia 950 comes with a 5.2 inch display that has Quad (2560×1440 pixels) resolution and 3. It is powered by the 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and offers a 20 megapixel rear camera that can record videos in resolution. There are three LED flash lights in its back panel to help the rear camera that has ZEISS optics. The Lumia 950 has a 3000 mAh battery and comes with USB Type C port for faster charging.

Besides, the Lumia 950 has 3 GB RAM, 200 GB micro SD card slot, 32 GB internal memory, 5 megapixel front camera, dual band WiFi (ac), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with and and Beidou, and FM radio.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL has a bigger 5.7 inch but with the same Quad HD resolution as well as the same 20 megapixel rear camera with triple LED flash light and ZEISS optics. However, it has a better 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 810 octa core processor as well as a bigger 3340 mAh battery with USB Type C charging port. As per Microsoft, the phone can be charged to 50 per cent in just 30 minutes.

It too has 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory, 200 GB expandable storage slot, 5 megapixel front camera, dual band WiFi (ac), Bluetooth 4.1, FM radio, NFC and GPS with GLONASS, A-GPS and Beidou.

Videocon Z55 Delite, Z45 Dazzle,Z45 Amaze

Videocon Mobile introduced three new smartphones – Videocon Z55 Delite, Videocon Z45 Dazzle and the Videocon Z45 Amaze – earlier this week. The Z55 Delite has a price tag of Rs 6,999, the Z45 Dazzle Rs 4,899 while the Z45 Amaze has a price tag of Rs 4,599.

The Z55 Delite features a 5-Inch HD IPS capacitive touch screen with Dragontrail X Glass. This KitKat 4.4.2 based smartphone offers 1GB RAM and a 1.4 GHz octa core processor. For storage, it has 8GB of inbuilt memory and a 32 GB micro SD card slot.

The Videocon Z55 Delite is preloaded with EROS NOW application for free movie streaming up to 6 months. This smartphone has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. The dual SIM smartphone offers 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, G-Sensor, and light Sensor. It has a 2200 mAh battery.

Videocon Z45 Dazzle too has Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS but it offers a 1.2 GHz quad core processor and 1 GB RAM, along with 5 megapixel auto-focus rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. The Dazzle is powered by a 1600 mAh battery. It comes with network support, 4.5-inch IPS capacitive touch screen, 8GB internal memory (expandable upto 32GB), Dual SIM, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, Radio, G-sensor and proximity sensors.

Videocon Z45 Amaze comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) IPS capacitive touch screen, Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, 1GB RAM and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. Available in Black and White colours, the Z45 Amaze is equipped with 2 megapixel auto focus rear camera and a front camera.

Besides, the Z45 Amaze has 8GB of internal memory, expandable memory of up to 32GB, Dual SIM, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G connectivity and a 1600 mAh battery. It has G-Sensor, P-Sensor along with GPS/A-GPS.

Lava X10

The Lava X10, which is priced at Rs 11,500, comes with a 5 inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with high definition resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It weighs just 133 gms and is 8mm thick. The handset comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, a 64 bit 1.3 GHz quad core processor, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal memory and 32 GB expandable storage slot.

The dual SIM Lava Iris X10 is compatible with networks. Note that though both the SIM slots are capable of holding 4G SIMs, only one SIM at a time will offer 4G connectivity. Besides, it has a 2900 mAh battery that claims to offer up to hours of talktime. It sports a 13-megapixel rear shooter with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing ‘selfie’ shooter with 84 degree wide angle lens.

Mio Alpha 2, Link, Fuse smartwatches

Mio Global, which claims to be the maker of world’s first heart rate monitor watch, entered the Indian market earlier this week. Mio has launched its wrist-based heart rate monitors and watches including the Mio All of Mio’s industry-leading products are available on Amazon.in, at prices starting Rs.6,599.

The Mio FUSE and the Mio ALPHA 2 are available in a variety of colors and sizes for Rs 11,499 and Rs 16,099 respectively. While Mio 57P-BLU Velo Cycling Heart Rate Monitor and Mio 56P-GRY-L Link Heart Rate Monitor are available for Rs 9,999 and Rs 6,599 respectively.

All the devices allow users to track their heart rate and daily activities like calories burned, steps taken etc. All these four are also water resistant.

Motorola Moto 360 2nd Gen

The Motorola Moto 360 2nd Gen, which is available for starting price of Rs 19,999, comes in various versions. There is one model for females (42 mm), two for males (42 and 46 mm) and a sports model called Moto 360 Sport. The smartwatch is claimed to be made of aircraft-grade 316L stainless steel and its screen has Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The smartwatch is also IP67-certified, making it dust and water resistant.

The watch is armed with 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 512 RAM, 4GB of internal memory, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi. The 42 mm variants have 300 mAh battery while the 46 mm model has a 400 mAh battery

It has a heart rate monitor as well.

Celkon CT722

It is priced at Rs 4,999 and will be available in retail stores while online it will be available exclusively on Snapdeal.

The Celkon CT722 has the Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system and is powered by the 1.2 GHz quad core Intel Atom X3 C3230RK processor. It has 1GB RAM, 8GB in-built memory and a 32GB expandable memory slot. This single SIM tablet has a 3.2 megapixel rear and front camera. CT722 supports 3G connectivity and comes with OTG support. The tablet has a 2800 mAh battery.

TCL Pride T500L

Chinese smartphone maker, TCL launched its Pride T500L in India at Rs 10,499 via Snapdeal.

The TCL Pride T500L comes with a 5 inch touchscreen with full high definition (1920×1080 pixels) resolution. The phone is powered by a 2.5 GHz octa core processor and 2 GB RAM. It has 16 GB of internal memory and has a slot as well.

The Pride T500L is armed with a 3050 mAh battery. It has one SIM card slot and offers 4G connectivity besides Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, 13 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera.

It is available in white and slate grey colours.

Panasonic Eluga Mark

Panasonic released the Eluga Mark, with fingerprint sensor, at Rs 11,990. It is available in gold and metallic grey finish.

The Panasonic Eluga Mark is based on the Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS and runs on a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa core processor. It comes loaded with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, and offers a 32GB micro SD slot. The smartphone has a 13 megapixel rear camera optimized by LED flash and a 5 megapixel front facing lens.

The Panasonic Eluga Mark is equipped with 4G/LTE connectivity, GPS with A-GPS, dual SIM, a 2500 mAh battery and boasts a 5.5-inch IPS display with high definition (1280×720 pixels resolution). The Eluga Mark measures 152 x 77 x 8.2 mm and has WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, WiFi Direct and Bluetooth 4.0.

The Eluga Mark comes with the FitHome user interface engineered exclusively by Panasonic which, as per the company, enables single thumb-flick access to applications on the home screen.
