This week saw few notable launches ranging from the cheapest fingerprint scanner offering smartphone to a huge screen bearing Micromax Canvas Fantabulet.

This week has been dominated by Intex, with 3 new launches. But it was Lenovo, Micromax, Gionee and Coolpad who brought some quality devices to the Indian market. Read on to find out more.

Gionee Marathon M5 Lite – Rs 12,999

Armed with a huge 4000 mAh battery, the Gionee Marathon M5 Lite is meant for those who often rue low battery back up of their phones. With this huge battery, the M5 Lite claims to offer up to 19 hours of talk time or 40 hours of standby.

In other areas too, the phone looks good. The M5 Lite offers a 5 inch HD IPS display. It runs on Android Lollipop, and has a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, which runs with 3 GB of RAM. The internal memory of the Gionee Marathon M5 Lite stands at 32 GB to which you can add another 128 GB via a microSD card. The primary camera is an 8 megapixel shooter, while the front of the phone has a 5 megapixel selfie taker. It too has dual-SIM, 4G, GPS (A-GPS), Bluetooth, and WiFi.

Lenovo A7000 Turbo – Rs 10,999

The Lenovo A7000 Turbo again brought the focus to the affordable segment. With a 5.5 inch full HD IPS display, Android Lollipop, and an octa-core 1.7 GHz processor, it looks superb. On top of that the Turbo offers 2 GB RAM, offering plenty of nitro for the multitaskers and gamers. The phone has 16 GB of internal memory as well as a 32 GB microSD card slot, thus offering plenty of storage space as well.

At Rs 6,999, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite is now the cheapest phone to have a fingerprint sensor. Also despite its low price tag, the Note 3 Lite offers huge 3 GB RAM, 5 inch HD IPS display, Android Lollipop operating system with Cool UI 6.0, and a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. The internal memory of the Coolpad Note 3 Lite stands at 16 GB, to which you can add another 32 GB via a microSD card.
