Just after Samsung’s head of mobile communications JK Shin confirmed the launch of Galaxy S III Mini, the details of the handset surfaced online. Samsung Hub reported that the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini will arrive with 4-inch Super AMOLED Display and will pack dual-core 1 GHz ST Ericsson mobile processor. By default, the Galaxy S III Mini will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update with TouchWiz user interface on it.
Samsung is set to launch a miniature Galaxy S III smartphone dubbed as Galaxy S III Mini. This smartphone will feature a 4-inch Super AMOLED display supporting 800×480 pixel resolution. Surprisingly this smartphone will use ST Ericsson’s 1 GHz dual-core U8420 mobile processor paired with 1 GB RAM. By default the Galaxy S III Mini will feature 16 GB on-board storage and will feature a memory card slot capable of holding up to 32 GB microSD card.
The Galaxy S III Mini is set to arrive with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update running along with new version of TouchWiz user interface. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and also Near Field Communication chip.
Samsung has added a 5 Megapixel camera at the back with LED Flash and there might be a front facing camera but we are not sure as of now. Packing a 1500 mAh battery, the Galaxy S III Mini will physically carry a design similar to that of Galaxy S III.
