HTC has been reported of working on a 5-inch display bearing smartphone-tablet hybrid since couple of months. Now a reliable source Football4PDA shares details about the upcoming 5-inch display bearing device as HTC DLX. The new HTC DLX will have a full 1080p HD Resolution supporting display and will pack a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro mobile processor. This could be the much awaited smartphone-tablet hybrid that has been buzzing since a while on the web.
HTC DLX has a 5-inch multi-touch display supporting full 1080p HD pixel resolution natively. The HTC DLX will have the quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 mobile Processor with Adreno 320 graphics. HTC has added 1.5 GB RAM to power this device and it will run the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update.
HTC will offer 16 GB on-board storage out of which some will be dedicated for system. At the rear, this DLX device will have a 12 Megapixel camera for capturing high quality images and full HD videos easily. In the front lies a 2 megapixel camera for HD quality video calling.
For longer run time, HTC has added a 2500 mAh battery to back the powerful hardware added and also make it run for more than a day. There are no hints or details on when the HTC DLX is expected to launch.
