Chinese handset maker, Zopo will launch its deca core Speed 8 smartphone in India on July 20. The company is organizing an event in Delhi for the launch and an invitation for the same was received by The Mobile Indian just a while ago.
In international markets, the Zopo Speed 8 is being sold at $299.99 (approximately Rs 20,537) and we are expecting a similar price tag in India as well. Curiously, the phone was made available long back in India and is currently available on Amazon.in for Rs 31,500. The phone comes in black and silver colors.
The Zopo Speed 8 features a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display. It is powered with latest MediaTek’s Helio X20 deca-core processor, which is clubbed with impressive 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, and Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. The smartphone runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 3600 mAh battery with Fast charging support.
The Speed 8 flaunts a 21-megapixel shooter on its back panel with dual LED Flash light, PDAF, and Sony IMX230 sensor. It has an 8-megapixel front camera. The front shooter also comes with an LED flash. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and notably a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. The handset measures 152.5 x 76.35 x 9.8mm and weighs 136 grams.
