Deal Alert: Honor 6X gets a price cut

Consumers can can now purchase the device for Rs 11,999 (32GB) and Rs 13,999 (64GB) from the e-commerce site.

Huawei sub-brand Honor has announced a price cut on one of its famous smartphone, the Honor 6X in India. The smartphone, which was launched in India January this year at Rs 12,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs 15,999 for 4GB RAM variant, will now be available with a new price tag from Amazon starting from June 6.

Consumers can can now purchase the device for Rs 11,999 (32GB) and Rs 13,999 (64GB) from the e-commerce site. To recall, the smartphone was launched in January this year, and the main highlight of the device is the dual-camera setup at the back. The device features a combination of a 12-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. The set up comes with phase detection (PDAF), flash etc. At the front, there is an 8-megapxel sensor for selfies. The camera lets you dig into and play with shallow depth of field and one can change the focus of an image post clicking it.

As far as other specifications are concerned, Honor 6X runs on 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI v4.1 on top. Other than that, it comes with a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass protection. On the inside, the device is powered by a Kirin 655 octa-core (4 cores at 2.1GHz + 4 cores at 1.7GHz) chipset with Mali-T830MP2 GPU paired with 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage or 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. In both the cases, the internal storage is expandable via microSD card. There is 3340 mAh battery inside and the smartphone also offers with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, with A-GPS, Compass etc.
