DataWind, the company behind Aakash tablets, has introduced yet another low-cost tablet – UbiSlate 7Cx. The new UbiSlate 7Cx tablet packs a 1 GHz mobile processor and runs Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update. DataWind offers this new UbiSlate 7Cx tablet at a very affordable pre-booking price of Rs 3,999.
DataWind’s new UbiSlate 7Cx tablet has a 7-inch touchscreen display supporting multi-touch capability. This tablet is powered by a 1 GHz Cortex-A8 mobile processor with 512 MB DDR3 RAM to run the Android 4.0.4 ICS smoothly.
The UbiSlate 7Cx tablet supports quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity as well. The tablet offers a Micro USB port and micro SD card slot. Unfortunately, there is no camera on this tablet and is ideally meant only to enjoy multimedia content that can be loaded on it and browse the mobile web.
