More than a month after releasing their Cool Play 7C smartphone, Coolpad has now teased the launch of its upcoming device. Labelled as the Coolpad Note 8, the Coolpad smartphone will be unveiled on October 15 in India.
First up, both the teaser pictures read “Bigger Note, Bigger View” implying that the Note 8 will equip a larger display that spans from one edge to the other. Looking at the front panel which is clearly visible from the teaser, the Note 8 will still feature huge bezels at the top and bottom.
Coolpad has announced that it’s collaborating with online payments and retail solution Paytm to launch the Coolpad Note 8 as a Paytm Mall exclusive device. This will be the first Coolpad product in India to be launched exclusively in association with Paytm.
The official teasers of the smartphone also reveal that the Note 8 device will equip a dual camera setup at the back. This will be Coolpad’s fifth smartphone of 2018 to boast of two camera sensors on the rear panel and sixth if you include the dual front camera sensors on the Coolpad Note 6.
Prior to this, Coolpad announced the Cool Play 7C smartphone in India with a 5.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display that has a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.
