Coolpad slashes price of Cool 1, Note 5 and Note 5 Lite

Starting 29 January 2018, these smartphones will be available at the discounted prices, exclusively on Amazon India.

Coolpad has today slashed the price of its Cool 1, Coolpad Note 5 and Coolpad Note 5 Lite smartphones. Starting 29 January 2018, these smartphones will be available at the discounted prices, exclusively on Amazon India.

Starting with Cool 1, the 3GB variant gets a price cut of Rs 4,000 and it is now available for Rs 7,999, while the 4GB variant gets a Rs 6,000 discounts and it is now available for purchase at Rs 8,999. Similarly Coolpad Note 5 and Note 5 Lite will be available for a discounted price of Rs 7,999 and Rs 5,999 respectively.

Apart from that, Coolpad is also offering a 0 % interest on Cool 1 (3 variant), Note 5, Note 5 Lite and a discount of Rs 500 on device exchange only on Cool 1 (32 GB) and Note 5 Lite.

Coolpad Cool 1

To recall, the Coolpad Cool 1 comes with a 5.5-inch Full in-cell display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. On the hardware front, the phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor, which is paired with Adreno 510 GPU. The device is backed by a 4GB and 32GB of internal storage with no expandable storage option.
The X factor of this Coolpad Cool 1 smartphone is its dual 13-megapixel rear camera setup of which one is a sensor, while the other one is a regular sensor. Further, the dual-camera setup comes with f/2.0 aperture, phase-detection (PDAF), dual tone flash on the back, while for the front there is an 8-megapixel shooter as well.
The smartphone runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with LeEco’s EUI 5.8 running on top of it. The device comes packed with powerful 4060 mAh non-removable battery with fast charging. The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the back panel and also comes with dual SIM functionality. For the connectivity, the device offers with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 ac/a/b/g/n), 4.1, GPS, USB port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset measures 152 x 74.8 x 8.2mm and weighs 167 grams.
Coolpad Note 5
Coolpad Note 5 has a metal unibody and a 5.5-inch display that comes with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels (full HD). It has the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 which is paired with Adreno 405 GPU, 4GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The phone can hold a micro SD card of up to 64GB. The Note 5 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has a customised user interface – Cool UI 8.0. Most importantly, it has a huge 4010 mAh battery. The smartphone also comes with dual-system (dual space feature) feature, same as of older Coolpad Max, which allows its users to have two accounts on WhatsApp, Facebook, Line, BBM, and other social media applications on a single smartphone.
There is a 13-megapixel auto-focus camera with a CMOS Sensor and f2/2 accompanied by dual-toned LED flash lights. Besides, we get an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f2/2 aperture is on its front. The phone comes with a front LED flash light as well to help users take selfies in low light conditions. The handset comes with hybrid dual SIM and support for 4G network with VoLTE. Besides, the smartphone offers WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, Geomagnetic Sensor Proximity Sensor, and Light Sensor.
Coolpad Note 5 Lite
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite smartphone is basically a toned down version of the Coolpad Note 5 and sports a metal unibody. The device features a 5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels coupled with 2.5D curved glass. The device is powered by 64 bit 1.0 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735CP processor, along with Mali 720 GPU. It is backed by a 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 64GB via card slot.
On the camera front, the device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera coupled with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera along with front flash. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s Cool UI 8.0 running on top of it. The device is juiced up by a 2500mAh battery which the company claims give a of 200 hours. On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G LTE, Wi-FI, Bluetooth v4.0, OTG and dual SIM. The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor which can be used to unlock, make receive calls, open applications and take pictures.
