Chinese smartphone brand Coolpad has today launched the Coolpad Cool 2 smartphone in China. The company has neither revealed its pricing nor its availability details as of now. The device has been launched only in China but it is also expected to be soon launched in India as well.
The Coolpad Cool 2 has a metal unibody design with a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass on top. It has 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor, which is paired with Mali T860 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. It has 4GB RAM, and 64 GB of internal storage and an expandable memory via microSD card slot. The Coolpad Cool 2 comes with a Water-resistant design.
Cool 2 has dual rear cameras with13-megapixel primary anda 0.3MP secondary sensor on the back, while in its front lies an 8-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calling. The smartphone comes packed with powerful 3200 mAh non-removable battery. The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the back panel located just under the rear cameras and also comes with face unlock capability. This dual SIM device offers 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 ac/a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and micro USB. The handset measures 154.7 x 73.3 x 9.0 mm and weighs 170 g.
