Comio X1 launched with 5.5-inch Full View screen, Face unlock, Android Oreo

Comio X1 comes in a unibody metal design with the back panel available in Red Hot, Sunrise Gold and Royal Black shades, all of which feature fold accents on secure parts of the phone and look fancy on the hand. Emerging brand Comio has launched its newest mid-range Comio X1 smartphone in India for a price of Rs 7,499 to match up to its competition in the sub-Rs 10,000 price segment. The younger sibling to the Comio X1 Note which was announced in May, the X1 will come with a slew of features for the budget crowd focusing mainly on Face unlock, bokeh mode and regional language support and will be available across offline and online stores including Snapdeal, Flipkart, Amazon, ShopClues and Paytm.

Powered by MediaTek MT6739 Quad-core processor, the Comio X1 will feature 2GB RAM, 16GB of onboard storage which is expandable to up to 128GB. Continuing the trend of elongated displays, the X1 will come with a 5.5-inch Full View display with black bezels on two out of three variants and a white bezel on the Gold coloured one.

The device makes use of to allow room for camera features like portrait mode, smile gesture, face cute, face age while also integrating Face Unlock for authentication purposes.

Additionally, the X1 will have access to different fonts and support for 22 different regional languages for Indian users with and VoLTE/ViLTE for connectivity. The device will run on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo with features like Split Screen, Pop Touch and anew Bike mode which turns off notification when riding a bike.

The Comio X1 is available across offline and online stores in India for an asking price of Rs 7,499.
