With competition heating up every passing day, smartphone makers are adding more and more features to their phones to distinguish their product in the market. Now it seems that phone makers have identified quad camera as the next USP. Already we have seen InFocus Snap 4 and Turbo 5 Plus with four cameras. A mysterious Honor phone was also spotted some time back with four cameras. Now according to noted tipster Evan Blass, Asus is working on a phone with four cameras – two front and two in the back.
As per Blass, the phone will be called as Asus Zenfone 5 Lite. It will have two 20 Megapixel selfie cameras and two 16 MP FHD+ rear cameras, he tweeted.
He also tweeted a picture of the phone which showed two cameras in the back – one below another. Two LED flash lights was there too along with a fingerprint sensor.
It seems to have a metal body with glass finishing.
As per GSMarena, Asus has scheduled an event on February 25 at the Mobile World Congress event during which it is likely to unveil the so called Zenfone 5 Lite. At the event, a variant of Zenfone 5 Max is also expected.
Asus had earlier confirmed to launch Zenfone 5 series during MWC 2018 event. Earlier, certification details of Zenfone 5 Lite was leaked as per which it will have a 6 inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
