Champion brings ultra-cheap phones with BSNL voice plan

The Champion Apna Phone' SQ181 Pro and SQ181 Power are priced at Rs 850 and Rs 975 respectively.

New Delhi-based mobile handset manufacturer, Champion has today announced the launch of its ‘Apna Phone’ SQ181 Pro and SQ181 Power for the Indian market, which has been pre-bundled with BSNL voice plan and are priced at Rs 850 and Rs 975 respectively.

The SQ181 Pro and SQ181 Power come with a 4.5cm (1.8) screen and are powered by a 1000mAh battery and 2200mAH battery respectively. Both the feature phones supports Dual configuration (GSM+GSM). With digital camera, these phones support two languages i.e., Hindi & English and feature TF card support.

Other features include Video Player & Music Player with Recording, Bluetooth, Powerful Speaker, FM Radio, and Torch.

Kapil Wadhwa, director, Champion Computers said, “We are committed to offer the rich media experience and simple functionalities combined with quality to our customers at an affordable price. Both the series of ‘Apna Phone’ SQ181 are available through retailers with plans in southern and western parts of India.”

The company has though not revealed the particular voice benefit that BSNL is offering with the phones.
