BSNL has reportedly launched a new prepaid plan of Rs 75 for its customers. The new plan is available in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circle as the ‘BSNL Jeevitha Prepaid Plan’.
As per the report of TelecomTalk, the new plan comes with a validity of 15 days though it also comes with a validity extension. The plan offers unlimited local, STD or roaming calls as well as 10GB of data. It does not offer to call benefits to mobile numbers located in Mumbai and Delhi circles. Additionally, it offers 500 SMSes as well.
The validity extension functionality can be used to extend benefits by up to 180 days. One has to opt for the BSNL STV plans from Rs 98 to Rs 199 to get an extended validity for 90 days. If you opt for BSNL STV plans above Rs 200, the validity will be extended to 180 days.
According to the report, these are STV options for BSNl users eligible for validity extension- Rs 98, Rs 99, Rs 118, Rs 139, Rs 187, Rs 198, Rs 319, Rs 333, Rs 339, Rs 349, Rs 395, Rs 444, Rs 447, and Rs 551. However, the validity will not be extended if one recharge through modes such as self-care, Web self-care, or USSD.
The BSNL Rs 75 competes with the Reliance Jio pack Rs 98 which comes with a validity of 28 days. It offers 2GB of 4G data and 300 SMS along with the unlimited voice calling.
Airtel has also a prepaid plan of Rs 75. Under this offer, users get 300 minutes of local, STD and outgoing roaming voice calling, 1GB of 2G/3G/4G data and 100 SMS for the whole validity period of 28 days. Idea Rs 75 plan also offers 1GB of 4G/3G/2GB data, 300 minutes of voice calling and 100 SMSes and a validity of 28 days.
