Blu Vivo 8 with 4GB RAM and 16MP front camera unveiled

The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated into the home button.

US-based mobile manufacturer, BLU, has announced a smartphone called Blu Vivo 8 for the US market. The BLU Vivo 8 is priced at $299.99 (approximately Rs 19,200) and is available in Black and Gold colour options for purchase on Amazon.com in the US. But Blu is offering its customers a discount of $100 between August 31st and September 1st at 11:59 pm EST, the Blu Vivo 8 will be priced at $199.99 (approximately Rs 12,799).

Listing out the specifications, the Blu Vivo 8 features a metal body and a 5.5-inch full (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Curved 3 protection. It is powered by a 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor. The smartphone runs on 7.0 Nougat operating system and also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated into the home button.

The smartphone comes with 4GB of and 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 64GB via micro SD card. In the camera department, the Blu Vivo 8 sports a 13-megapixel PDAF camera with a SONY IMX 258 sensor, a 1/3 inch sensor with 5P lens and f/2.0 aperture. At the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with a LED flash here as well. The front camera features a f/2.0 and a 1/3 inch sensor with 5P lens.

The Vivo 8 device comes fitted with a 4010 battery which can charge 100 percent in just 90 minutes. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G, 4.0, WiFi, GPS, and a port.
