BLU Studio J2 with 2000mAh battery gets FCC certification

BLU Studio J2 will be a dual-SIM smartphone and will feature 2.4 GHz WiFi support.

It seems Blu is getting ready for the launch of its Blu Studio J2 smartphone soon in the United States. As per the reports, the device has got the all necessary approval from Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in the US.

The FCC document, however, does not reveal much about the specification of the BLU Studio J2. As per the listing, the smartphone will have a slot and will feature 2.4 GHz WiFi support. It will be powered by a 2000mAh battery as well. The exact software version of the phone is unknown at the moment, but it is expected run on 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Blu Studio J2 smartphone is likely to be a cheaper variant of the existing BLU Studio J5. The Studio J5 phone was launched with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, and a 2300mAh battery. Since the new smartphone is already spotted with a smaller battery than the Studio J5, it is highly likely that other specifications will be toned down as well. The exact launch date for the smartphone is unknown at the moment but we will keep you updated as more information will surface in coming days.
