Blu S1 launched with 13MP rear camera and Android Nougat

It is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor with Mali-T860GPU.

US-based mobile manufacturer, BLU, has announced a smartphone called Blu S1 for the US market. The Blu S1 is priced at $179 (approximately Rs 11,586) and available for purchase on Amazon.com in the US. It is available through AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile USA and all the MVNO network. It comes in Black, Gray and Gold colour options.

Listing out the specifications, the Blu S1 features a polycarbonate body and a 5.2-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor with Mali-T860 GPU. The smartphone runs on 7.0 Nougat operating system and also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated into the home button.

The smartphone comes with 2GB of and 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 64GB via micro SD card. In the camera department, the Blu S1 sports a 13-megapixel and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The Blu S1 device comes fitted with a 2800 battery.

Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G, 4.0, WiFi, GPS, and a port. The handset measures 147.3 x 72.8 x 8.4mm and its weight is 137 grams.
