Taiwanese handset maker, Asus has announced the launch of its first Android Go-powered smartphone called Zenfone Live L1.
The Asus Zenfone Live L1 comes with a 5.5-inch display having 1440×720 pixels Resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It has Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC which is paired with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot in the phone too.
The Live L1 has a 13 Megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. A 3300 mAh battery powers this phone.
Besides, the Live L1 offers 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/A-GPS and FM radio. Asus has launched the Zenfone Live L1 in three colors – Rose Pink, Midnight Black and White.
Note that the phone has been announced for the Indonesia market as of now. There is no information about its price or launch date in other countries including India.
The Go edition was first announced at Google I/O 2017 and it meant for low-end devices that run with 512MB to 1GB of memory. The aim is to provide the latest Android updates to the masses and it will be available as a part of Android 8.1 release.
Lava, Nokia, Alcatel and Micromax are some of the other companies who have launched Android Go based phones in the past.
