Asus Zenfone Go with Android Lollipop, 8 MP camera launched in India at Rs 7,999

The Asus Zenfone Go looks lucrative at Rs 7,999 as it has quite decent features.

Asus Zenfone Go, which was revealed earlier this year, was launched in India today and is now available from Flipkart for Rs 7,999.

The ZenFone Go with model name ZC500TG comes with a 5 inch IPS display with high definition (720p) and is available in three colours- Black, White & Red, along with 8GB storage.
The device runs on 5.1 Lollipop operating system with the help of 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6580 quad core processor. It has 16 internal storage, 2 GB RAM and 64 GB expandable memory. The Asus Zenfone Go has a 2070 battery.

In the camera department, the Asus Zenfone Go has an 8 auto focus rear camera and a 2 megapixel selfie unit in its front panel. The handset measures 71×144.5×9.98 mm and weighs 135 grams.

The dual Asus Zenfone Go 4.0, GPS with and GLONASS, WiFi (b/g/n), but offers and not connectivity.

Announcing the availability for ZenFone Go, Peter Chang, regional head – South Asia and country manager – System Business Group – ASUS India, said, “We are excited to announce the availability of ZenFone Go for our Indian users. Being the third largest home to smartphone users, India is a critical market for us and we intend to bring cutting products to consumers here, who seek power packed design sensibilities of a high-end smartphone at competitive prices.”
