Asus is all set to launch the Zenfone 6 in India on June 19 as Asus 6Z, following the Delhi Court order to stop on using Zen or Zenfone due to trademark issue. Now, just ahead of launch, the smartphone is getting a new update that brings a host of improvements in the camera department.
The update is currently rolling out to the global units of the Asus Zenfone 6 and it comes with version number 16.1210.1904.133. The update brings the Super Night mode to the ultra-wide angle lens of the Asus Zenfone 6. It also optimises the translation strings in the Settings menu and improves system stability. The update also adds weather information on the lock screen.
The new update also optimises UI Animation and Headphone sound quality. Lastly, it also improves the camera rotation stability. You can check the full changelog here:

The major highlight of the smartphone is the new rotating camera mechanism. The feature allows the rear camera to flip and turns into a selfie shooter with a touch of a button. The phone features a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with a 125-degree ultra-wide angle lens and f/2.4 aperture.
Asus Zenfone 6 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ NanoEdge display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 600nits brightness, HDR support and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Processor along with Adreno 640 GPU.
