Asus Zenfone 5Z Android 9.0 Pie update starts rolling out

The update carries version number 90.10.138.157 and it is meant for Zenfone 5Z with model number ZS620KL.

Asus has stated the roll out 9.0 Pie update in batches toZenfone 5Z. The update also adds November 2018 security patch and it is around 1.04GB in size. Although the update is meant for the Korean market, the global rollout of Pie update could be around the corner.

As a resultof Android 9.0 Pie update, users will get an all-new contextual pop-up volume bar and a new Magnifier feature for “easier copy-and-paste”. Apart from this, the update should also bring Android Pie features like Digital Wellbeing, improved security features, new accessibility menu, new screenshot shortcut, easier screen rotation, volume and sound improvements, and more.

To recall, the Asus Zenfone 5z has a 6.2-inch Full display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a screen resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm by Snapdragon 845 with Adreno 630 GPU. It has a dual rear camera set up of 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel in its back. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel camera.
