The Asus ZenFone 3 smartphone which was launched in India last year has got a price drop. The smartphone comes in two variants – Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) and the ZenFone 3 (ZE520KL), which were launched at Rs 27,999 and Rs 21,999 respectively. After price cut, Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) now retails at Rs 19,999 while ZenFone 3 (ZE520KL) will be sold at Rs 17,999. The smartphones will be available via the ASUS’s exclusive stores as well as all leading retail stores and e-commerce portals.
To recollect, the Zenfone 3 comes in gold, black, and white colours. It has Corning Gorilla Glass coating on both front and back panels while an aluminium frame protects its internals. The Zenfone 3 has the Snapdragon 625 processor, a 16-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera.
The model ZE552KL comes with a 5.5-inch screen, whereas the ZE520KL comes with a 5.2-inch screen. The variant with 5.2 inch full HD display comes with 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory and a 2650 mAh battery while the other has a 5.5 inch IPS LCD full HD display, a 3000 mAh battery, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory. Both the versions have fingerprint sensor, USB Type C port, expandable storage slot, MiMO WiFi, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou and Android Marshmallow operating system.
