Asus X00GD running on Android 7.0 Nougat and 4850 battery gets TENAA certification

Recently, Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom with dual camera set up was also spotted on TENAA site.

An unannounced smartphone from Asus with model number X00GD has been found listed on the website of TENAA – the Chinese certification agency. The listing not only has images of the phones but it also carries the major specifications of the device as well. Recently, Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom was also spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA with model name ASUS_Z01HDA. The Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom is expected to be launched during Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 event.
Asus X00GD
As per the TENAA listing, the Asus X00GD has a 5.2 inch display with 720×1280 pixels resolution powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor. It comes in 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM with 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage, a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, an 8 megapixel front camera and a huge 4,850 battery. The listing shows that the Asus X00GD features a fingerprint sensor on the physical home button on the front panel of the device.

The phone runs on 7.0 Nougat operating system with Asus ZenUI on top of it and the images reveal that it has luxury gold, rose gold, and black colour versions. Connectivity options of the device include dual SIM, 4G-LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS and a 2.0 port. The phone is 149.5 mm tall, 73.7 mm wide and 8.85 mm thin and it weighs 169.5 grams, according to the TENAA listing.

There is no information about the price and unveiling of the device but it is expected to be launched during the CES 2017 event. Asus has scheduled Zennovation event for CES 2017 on January 4 where it is expected to announce a new device which will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835.
