Taiwanese mobile giant, Asus has unveiled its new mid-range smartphone in China, the Asus Pegasus 5000. The smartphone comes in two variants, one with 2GB RAM and other with 3GB RAM, priced at CNY 1,299 (approx Rs 13,378) and CNY 1,799 (approx Rs 18,520) respectively.
The Asus Pegasus 5000 features a 5.5-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass coating and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek (MT6753) processor. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with ZenUI on top of it and is packed with a huge 4850 mAh battery.
Asus Pegasus 5000 comes with 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable by another 32GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has two SIM card slots using which you can access 4G networks. Besides, it has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a micro-USB port. The handset measures 155×76.4×9 mm and weighs 176 grams.
