Asus has added another member to its Zenfone series by launching an affordable Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 6,999, the smartphone will be available starting today via both online and offline retail stores before the end of December 2016. The device comes with two types of back cover finish variants â€“ Matte finish in Glamour Red colour, and with Hairline finish in Silver Blue, Gold, and Silver.
The Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE follows the similar design language as we have seen in previous generation Zenfone series with volume rocker placed at the back below the rear camera and power button placed on the top centre. As the name suggest, the smartphone comes with a 4.5-inch FWCA display with a screen resolution of 854×480 pixels. On the hardware front, the device is powered by 1.0GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset along with Adreno 306 GPU. The phone is backed by a 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. Asus is also offering an additional 100 GB of Google Drive storage for 2 years.
On the camera front, the device sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with features like Low-light mode, Backlight (HDR) mode, and beautification modes, while for the front there is a 2-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s ZenUI running on top of it. Asus Zenfone Go comes with a 2,070mAh removable Lithium-ion battery and support connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, dual SIM, microUSB, GPS and GLONASS. The device measures 136.5 x 66.7 x 3.6~11.2 mm and weighs 135 grams.
