Asus launched MeMO Pad tablet at Rs 9,999

Asus has launched a 7 inch tablet with 1 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM and Android 4.1 operating system.

Asus has launched its Memo Pad, a 7 inch tablet, in India for Rs 9,999. The Asus MeMO Pad ME172V is an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet and comes with a 7-inch Twisted Nematic (TN) display with a resolution of 1024×600 (169 PPI), 10 finger multi- touch function and wide viewing angle.

The tablet has up to 7 hours of claimed battery life. It has a front facing HD camera can take HD videos (720p) with up to 30 frames per second and the Æ’/2.0 to capture more light. It comes with inbuilt memory of 8 and a micro-SD slot that supports up to 32 GB extra storage. Asus has packed a 1 GHz VIA WM8950 mobile paired with Mali-400 graphics chip and 1 GB RAM.

The tablet is available in Sugar White, Titanium Gray and Cherry Pink colours and comes with a non-slip diamond-patterned finish.

The tablet weighs 358 grams and measuring 196.2 x 119.2 x 11.2mm. In terms of software enhancement the tablet features floating with Multi-tasking, Browser, Video, Sticky Memo, Stopwatch, Countdown and BuddyBuzz. In addition, ASUS is offering a ‘Cloud Experience’ service that allows to sync data and edit files online.
