Aquaris E4.5, Aquaris E5 Ubuntu Edition all set to launch in India

Aquaris E4.5 and Aquaris E5 are priced at Rs 11,999 and Rs 13,499 respectively.

Canonical, the UK based company which has made the Ubuntu operating system, is all set to launch its Ubuntu operating system based Aquaris E4.5 and Aquaris E5 smrtphones in India soon. Aquaris has joined hands exclusively with Snapdeal to launch these two phones in India. Aquaris E4.5 and Aquaris E5 are priced at Rs 11,999 and Rs 13,499 respectively and will be available only on Snapdeal by the end of this month.

Canonical, which had teamed up with European handset maker BQ to make its Ubuntu based phones, had launched these two Aquaris smartphones earlier this year in Europe – Aquaris E4.5 was launched in February while the Aquaris E5 was launched in June.
Aquaris E4.5
Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition has a 4.5 inch qHD display with Dragontrail glass, an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual flash light and a 5- megapixel front camera. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz MediaTek quad core processor and 1 GB RAM. For storage, it has 8 GB of internal memory. Besides, it has a 2150 mAh battery, dual micro SIM slot, 32 GB expandable storage, WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS, and a host of sensors.
Aquaris E5
The Aquaris E5 Ubuntu Edition comes with 5 inch display with IPS screen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and Dragontrail glass. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera that is equipped with a Largan lens and BSI sensor. For selfies, it has a 5 megapixel front camera. Other than that it has 16 GB of internal memory, 32 GB expandable memory slot, WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, 1 GB RAM, 1.3 Ghz quad core processor, GPS with and a 2500 mAh battery. It measures 142 x 71 x 8.65 mm and weighs 134 grams.
