Apple will launch iPhone 5 on 2 November in India is no secret, and that it will sell for Rs 44,500 for a 16GB model is also known to every Apple iPhone fan now.
But most of us didn’t know that Apple is planning a public launch of the phone, where people can come and see the device, have a demo and also purchase it on the spot between 7pm to 11 Pm.
Apple will launch iPhone 5 in five locations in Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Bangalore. In Delhi one can visit DLF Place, Saket District Centre, Pushp Vihar; in Gurgaon one can go to Galleria DLF Phase 2; in Mumbai Inorbit Mall, 2nd Floor, Food Court, Link Road, Malad West, Phoenix, Tulsi Pipe Road are the venues; and finally in Banglore UB City, Vittal Mallya Road is the place to witness the launch event.
Apart from that, Apple iPhone 5 will also be available across online and retail stores across major cities within a day or two of launch. Mobile operators Airtel and Aircel have also announced that they will also sell the phone and in all probability announce special offers for the latest iPhone.
Apple had announced the new lighter, thinner and faster iPhone 5 last month. The new iPhone 5 has a 4 inch Retina IPS display that supports 1136 x 640 pixel Resolution natively. Under the 7.6 mm thin body, it has a new Apple A6 mobile Processor with triple core graphics. The phone sports a totally new design with a brushed aluminium back panel that has glass strips on the top and bottom.
At the rear, the iPhone 5 has an 8 Megapixel iSight camera with five element glass, now comprising of Sapphire glass crystal and hybrid IR filter. There is also a front facing camera that can now indulge 720p HD FaceTime videos.
