Apple has finally confirmed that it will hold an event on September 12, where it is reported to unveil the next-generation of iPhone devices and much-anticipated iPhone 8. The Cupertino-based giant has started sending out the invites for the same and for the first it will hold the event in the Steve Jobs Theater on its new Apple Park campus in Cupertino at 10:00 AM PDT.
Apple is expected to unveil the tenth-anniversary special edition iPhone aka iPhone 8 along with iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus. A new Apple Watch and a 4K Apple TV is also expected to be unveiled at the event. Further, one could also see latest updates Apple Watch, Apple TV and iOS as well. Multiple reports suggest that iPhone 8 is expected to be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB storage options and it might come with 3GB of RAM along with wireless charging, bezel less OLED display and Apple’s A11 chip.
Apple iPhone 8 won’t have a home button due to the bezel-less display, and Touch ID could be moved to back panel or under the screen biometric system(Touch ID). The company is also reported to add a 3D Face recognition to unlock the iPhone.
Coming back to the new 4K Apple TV with HDR support. The Cupertino-based tech giant is planning to add a faster Processor that will the set-top box to streaming 4K content. The report further highlights that the company will be updating its TV App as well and it might aggregate programming from apps that offer live streaming.
Lastly, we might also see Apple Watch 3 series, which could be thinner compared to the Apple Watch Series 2. The series is also expected to support LTE, which means you will be able to carry your Apple watch without your iPhone and it will still have the internet connection.
