Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) has partnered with Mojostreet to launch an application that offers information about the places in Andhra Pradesh and also helps tourists plan their holidays in the state.
Sandeep Kumar Sultania, vice chairman and managing director, APTDC said, “Our partnership with Mojostreet – A GPS enabled mobile application, will make it easier for tourists to find information about nearby tourists spots, hotels, restaurants, banks, travel agencies and much more right on their mobile phones.”
With this partnership with Mojostreet, APTDC will be able to provide all the information needed on places to stay, visit, shop, dine and more. The App will also provide users with contact information and GPS enabled road directions using Google Maps. APTDC will also use Mojostreet to interact with its tourists, collect feedback and even provide special discounts at APTDC properties.
Mojostreet is currently available for iPhone, Nokia touch, Android, Blackberry and Windows smartphones. The app can be downloaded for free from all major mobile application stores.
The Mojostreet app has also incorporated a game in the app that lets people compete with friends by checking into interesting places, Earning mojo$s and Trading properties( virtual gifts).
Andhra Pradesh attracted more than 155 million tourists last year, which is about 21 per cent of the total tourist traffic in India. There was a similar launch by Kerala tourism last month.
