Chinese handset manufacturer OnePlus announced on Monday that Amitabh Bachchan will be their maiden OnePlus Star, which is a set of eminent OnePlus users. This is the first time when OnePlus has brought aboard a brand ambassador for them in India.
Announcing the partnership with the Veteran actor, Pete Lau, CEO and founder of OnePlus quoted – “We are delighted to welcomeMr.Amitabh Bachchan as our brand representative in India. As the brand grows to the next level, we aim to continue to bond with our community in a more meaningful and engaging way. Our association withMr.Bachchan will further strengthen this bond, give our users a greater sense of purpose and help the brand scale to new heights.”

OnePlus claims that the reason they chose Amitabh Bachchan for this purpose is because he truly represents their motto – “Never Settle” as Bachchan has redefined what can be done as an actor with each of his performances, something that OnePlus endeavours to achieve with every new product they launch.
