We reported that Amazon is planning to launch a new smartphone under the brand name 10.or (pronounced Tenor). Now, the smartphone has been listed on the e-commerce website revealing major specifications and more.
To start with, the smartphone will be named as 10.or D and it will available for sale from January 5, 2018, starting from 12 PM. Further, the device will come with an additional 1-year warranty for Amazon Prime customers. The listing page reveals that the phone is ‘Crafted for Amazon’ and teases the pricing of both the variants.
Coming to the specifications, the 10.or D features a 5.2-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core Processor along with Adreno 308 GPU. It will be available in two configurations: 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. The memory could be further expandable in nature.
The 10.or D will be backed by a 3500mAh Li-Polymer battery that the listing page claims to deliver up to 70 hours of MP3 playback time, up to 25 hours of Talk time and up to 10 hours on the internet. There is a fingerprint sensor at the back panel, which the company claims can unlock the smartphone in 0.2 seconds when the phone is on and 0.7 seconds when the phone is off. Further, the phone will come with Dirac speaker, FM Radio and OTG support as well.
However, there is no information on the camera, operating system and pricing at the moment, but it will be revealed tomorrow’s event. Judging by the key specifications, it looks that the smartphone will compete with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 5A, Motorola Moto C Plus and more, which offers similar specifications and are priced at a competitive price.

If the brand is able to overcome these challenges, the competition is so intense, especially at this price point, that it will be a tad difficult thing for a brand like 10.or to make its presence felt in the smartphone market.
